Who we are

A Stylish personal industrial designer ready to make your product dreams into a reality

BenderWorks is first and foremost a nimble, creative design studio comprised of Industrial Designer and Founder Jordan Bender, his LLC (BenderWorks) and our clients (you)!

Our team is small, but very capable. Our size allows us to be adaptable, quick and communicate extremely efficiently. No games of telephone going through the corporate hierarchy here, just your great ideas and our expert designs!

Small Studio, Big Ideas

Our Northern California Studio may be small, but it is mighty. We’re used to making creative, problem-solving solutions and can truly make your ideas into incredible products!

While some may see our size as limiting, we see an advantage:

Small means we’re attentive, less complex and can create closer business-client relationships. We see that as a win-win.

Disclaimer: We do not undertake projects that we do not believe we can genuinely contribute to, projects solely driven by financial gain, or projects that exceed our capabilities. We prioritize quality, honesty and good business practices.

 FAQs

  • Our designer Jordan has earned his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design from SFSU with Cum Laude Awards. He also worked on a team of Mechanical Design Engineers for over 2 years who created aftermarket automotive accessories with an emphasis on sheet metal design and manufacturability. BenderWorks has also worked on many projects for more than a handful of clients since 2023, many of which are on sale today.

  • BenderWorks is ready to take on projects from all product arenas, however automotive, outdoors, technology, home decor and sheet metal products especially interest us!

  • While I do mention “us” a lot here on the site, yes it really is just me (Jordan) and the business as of right now. I do this to include the business in my phrasing as “we” in order to remind our customers that we are a legitimate studio with legal business accreditation as well as saving a lot of pronoun editing in the future (should we expand to include other designers in “our” studio).

  • While other, larger studios may offer a team of designers and a potentially broader range of specialities, ours carries many benefits of a smaller studio, which may be a better fit for you!

These benefits include an emphasis on helping smaller businesses or individuals, having a more direct line of communication for your project and a more tailored approach to your situation.

In addition to the above, we also pride ourselves on honesty, good business practices and originality.
